(I've never seen a guage that gives different readings, but I've seen lots of them that read high or low.) Lots of other problems will arise from a crappy tire guage, but pulling to the side shouldn't be among them UNLESS the guage gives a different reading every time you use it and then it could give a high reading on one side and a low reading on the other. A crappy guage will give you tires that are filled wrong, but they will be the same so the car should not pull to the side as a result.

If a tire on one side of the car is filled to 20 psi, and the other side it 30 psi, then the car is gonna pull to the low side. All that matters is that all tires are set to the same psi to see if tire pressure is the problem. It doesn't matter that your tire guage is a piece of crap or accurate to. I'm thinking you have a problem with the steering rack, or something in the steering system somewhere. Your description does not support a diagnosis as given above. These sorts of problems will generally require some degree of counter steer - if the car wants to go right, you have to steer left - to keep your course. If you drive along and the car slowly veers to the side, then you have problems with alignment, tire pressure, worn control arm bushings, stuff like that. Today, driving back from NYC over the GW, I picked up a horrible pull to the was wind! You'll be back saying your left front was three lbs. At a certain point, I think you sort of need a 'master' to align non-stock suspension.not the local firestone guys (sorry.just picked firestone at random.should've picked Michelin (F1 at Indy.I won't forget!).ДЄnyway, start with the basics and get them correct.then go from there. Not sure if you know if they aligned the z rear toe (I think that's really the only adjustment you can make in the back) can affect you also.ДЄlso, if you don't have stock suspension, that can prolly make alignment problematic, depending on what you did and whether you're really low.

They should have told you when you got an alignment.if one was recent, whether something was bad or not.but that depends on where you got the alignment.ДЄlso, I know you'll hear the tie rods, CAs, etc.and you can certainly inspect them for failed boots and loose nuts.but that 'should' have been caught at the alignment. The roads also, all slope down to the right. Struts being more expensive parts-wise, while cv joints are labor-intensive. Hopefully one of those incidents knocked something loose, rather than bending or breaking something.Д¬orrect me if I'm wrong, but worst case scenario money-wise would be worn struts or a cv joint about to go. Another Philadelphia pothole a two or three months ago was hard enough to knock my car out of gear (without actually moving the shifter.) I did have an incident about a year ago where I hit a deep pothole (convieniently about the width of a tire, but 6 or 8 inches deep.) that bent the rim a little. 9 times out of 10 it happens because something's bent, worn, or broke. Keep in mind that cars just don't 'go' out of alignment, there's a reason that it's out of whack.
