This insinuates that Alan Wake 2 is much more terrifying than Alan Wake was, considering the studio that developed the original doesnвЂ™t even consider it a horror game.ДЄlan Wake 2 will be a third-person game, with both Ilkka Villi and Matthew Poretta returning for the role of Alan Wake, as was confirmed in a tweet from Sam Lake himself. In a PlayStation blog post about the heavily anticipated sequel, Remedy EntertainmentвЂ™s creative director, Sam Lake, said Alan Wake 2 will be the studioвЂ™s first survival horror game and not an action game with horror elements like its predecessor.

Although the game will be released on PC, Remedy Entertainment made a deal with Epic Games to publish the game, so it doesnвЂ™t seem like thereвЂ™ll be any chance of Alan Wake 2 coming to Steam.

This isnвЂ™t that long of a wait unless, of course, you beat Alan Wake when it originally came out.ДЄlan Wake 2 will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X & S. There is still no official release date, and the terrifying sequel likely wonвЂ™t be released until sometime in 2023.

The game was announced in December 2021 at The Game Awards.
